Job Description:
The Pennsylvania Leadership Charter School is a fast-growing, state-wide, public K-12 cyber charter school with 2,400 students.
Teachers at PALCS are highly qualified, have life experiences in their area of expertise and many have years of teaching experience.

Qualifications and Experience include:
* PA Certified in English 7-12 and ESL Program Specialist
* Working collaboratively in a non-traditional, progressive teaching environment
* MS Word, Power point, Excel and Internet skills
* Good communication skills
* Some travel during the school year
* Willing to adapt to constant change in an ever-growing cyber environment
* Willing to work out of the West Chester office on a daily basis
* Collaborating with other faculty to discuss student work and to share best practices.
* Committed to high expectations for students and high support for students.
Duties/Responsibilities:
1. Design relevant student centered lessons that address the unique needs of English language learners in an effort to increase their English language proficiency and academic success
2. Collaborate with regular classroom teachers to modify lessons for the English language learners and suggest strategies for successfully working with ELLs
3. Develop positive relationships with students and parents through open communication via phone calls, e-mails and local onsite visits with the ELLs and their parents
4. Proficiency in Spanish is not required but can be very helpful.
