Job Description:
Cumberland Valley School District - Mechanicsburg, PA
November, 2009 through June, 2010
Position requires valid PA certification. Experience as a Family and Consumer Science teacher preferred. Candidate must have a thorough knowledge of the physical and psychological aspects of middle school aged children and good communication skills. Candidate must understand and be able to teach the approved curriculum in Family and Consumer Science.
For consideration, the following must be on file:
1. Completed application
2. Copy of teaching certificate
3. Copy of PRAXIS results (if applicable)
4. Official college and/or university transcripts
5. Criminal Record Check (less than one year old)
6. PA Child Abuse History Clearance (less than one year old)
7. FBI Finger Print Clearance
In addition to being qualified and knowledgeable in the specific area of certification required, we are seeking individuals trained in:
ADAPT Authentic Assessment
Collaborative Learning Learning Styles
EEI Integrated Curriculum
Inclusion Computer Background in Windows and Macintosh OS
Process Writing Portfolios
