Early Childhood Educational Consultant - St. Louis Learning Disabilities Association seeks motivated certified special education teacher to work with local daycares and preschools. About 20 hours of the work week will be spent working with the children and school staff to increase language, social/emotional, cognitive, and motor skills. Through observations, student interactions, and staff meetings the educational consultant will support the preschool in providing the most developmentally appropriate education. The position is flexible to be either full time or part time and the remaining work week hours would be divided between presenting community workshops on educational topics and on the phone helping to point concerned or frustrated parents in the right direction. No phone calls please.
