Description:
Tutor - St. Louis Learning Disabilities Association seeks motivated certified special education teacher to work 2 to 4 days a week after school hours as a tutor. There are several tutoring positions open. We currently need 1 tutor with a broad foundation of tutoring skills, 1 tutor who has worked as a speech and language pathologist, and 1 tutor who is VERY comfortable with upper level math and science. Special Ed certification NOT needed for the math tutor. Tutoring is done on a 1 on 1 basis and students need to be taught compensatory skills as well as study strategies using their curriculum.
