Description:
The ACES Professional Development and School Improvement unit seeks full time Educational Specialists to work with teachers, administrators, and school leaders from ACES' 25 member districts.

Responsibilities include: Provide training and technical assistance in the areas of curriculum development, effective teaching strategies, leadership development, school improvement initiatives, and technology integration.

Applicants should hold a current CT teacher's certificate, and have at least five years of successful teaching experience. The ideal candidate will have group process skills, knowledge of current educational reform initiatives, and a deep understanding of effective professional development design. Applicants should have strong collaborative, interpersonal, and development skills, and be able to work independently and as part of a team. Teacher leadership experience is highly desirable.
