Description:
The Challenger Learning Center-St. Louis is looking for Flight Director (Part-Time)

Responsibilities:

Conduct simulated space missions, workshops, and programs and assist with other related programs.
-Conduct simulated space missions for schools, community, public and corporate groups.
-Conduct on and off-site workshops and other programs as needed.
-Represent the Challenger Learning Center-St. Louis at business fairs and other related activities as needed.
-Attend regular staff meetings.
-Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

-High school diploma or equivalent (60 hours college credit preferred)
-Science, math or technology background desired
-Teaching experience in formal or informal education desired
-Strong presentation and communication skills
-Demonstrated interest in space science preferred
-Comfortable working with technology
-Ability to communicate effectively with both children and adults
-Dynamic and outgoing personality
-Flexible schedule-available to work weekdays,
weekends and occasional evenings

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be ambulatory to move around all areas of the building.
