Description:
The Richmond R-XVI School District is currently accepting applications for a Gifted Education Instructor. Gifted certification is preferred although allowances for progress towards full certification may be considered.

Responsibilities to include:

*Provide gifted students with an educational environment beyond that offered in the regular classroom setting for superior students.
*Work as a pull-out instructor for students identified as gifted in elementary and middle school.
*Develop curriculum which is aligned to the Missouri Gifted Curriculum. Utilize methods to enhance instruction occurring in the regular education classroom.
*Implement a GRT model in grades 9-12. This model allows the gifted teacher to work as a resource to high school students and staff.
