Description:
Special education teacher aides are needed to assist special education classroom teachers with instructional and non-instructional tasks. Some responsibilities required of the teacher aide include:
- Instructing students(one-on-one or small group) who are on IEPs under the direction of the supervising special education teacher
- Assist the teacher in observing, recording, and charting behavior
- Assist the teacher with crisis problems and behavior management
-Participate in professional activities and meetings

Safe Crisis Management training is provided by ECH. All teacher aides must be SCM trained.
Applicants must have an AA degree or 60 college hours.
