PRE-SCHOOL TEACHER
EARLY EDUCATION
(2008-2009 EXTENDED SCHOOL YEAR)

RESPONSIBILITIES (Partial List):

1.Provide developmentally appropriate classroom experiences for pre-kindergarten children in full-day class at Airport School.
2.Provide Parents as Teachers program for children and parents through regularly scheduled home visits (some in evening).
3.Fulfill extra requirements for training and timely documentation of children's progress and classroom environment as required by Missouri Preschool Project, Missouri Accreditation, Child Care Bureau licensing, and Title I regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1.Must be certified in Early Childhood Education.
2.Must have Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education.
3.Must become certified in Parents as Teachers.
4.Experience teaching in early childhood preferred.

SALARY: Teacher's Salary Schedule

DEADLINE: Until Filled. Orientation begins July 1, class on July 7.
