Description:
Hazelwood School District has an opening for an assistant principal at East High School for the 2008-2009 school year.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of Master's Degree.
2. Secondary principal's certificate issued by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education or certificate pending completion of Assessment Center. This requirement must be met before commencement of contract.
3. At least five years successful secondary classroom teaching and administrative/supervisory experience.
4. Training and practical experience in instructional management, effective teaching models, curriculum development, implementation and evaluation.
5. Ability and personality necessary to work effectively with colleagues, students, parents, and other individuals, as well as formal and informal groups and organizations.
6. Possess positive, effective people skills.
Period of Employment: 11 months.
Salary: $87,250.00 - $113,250.00 plus $2,000 stipend for Doctorate.
