Description:
The Ritenour School District is seeking an Instructional Facilitator (6-12 Literacy/Technology)

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Missouri teaching certificate and a masters degree are required.
- Sufficient depth and breadth of knowledge and experience to assist teachers at various stages of expertise with instructional practices and technology integration.
- Knowledge of structuring classrooms to achieve rigorous, relevant, engaging instruction in a culturally responsive and technology-rich environment.
- Demonstrated understanding of adult learning theory, coaching/mentoring, data-based decision making, and collaborative protocols for planning and problem-solving.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Observe teachers and discuss with them and their principals the instructional methods and strategies, which will most effectively address students' needs.
- Use cognitive coaching to facilitate the implementation of curriculum and the improvement of instructional practices.
- Facilitate the improvement of teaching practices through data analysis, targeted training and direct teacher support.
- Arrange for targeted training for teachers which addresses identified needs.
- Assist in the alignment of the curriculum and teaching practices in relationship to the goals of the Ritenour School District and the DESE Grade Level and Course Level Expectations.
