Job Description:
Candidate must be knowlegeable about teaching and behavior management strategies for students diagnosed with E/BD. Must have a focused and structured approach to teaching while understanding the importance of creating a caring, supportive environment in the classroom. Candidate should be comfortable working with middle and high school age students; and should possess the skills necessary to implement an individualized curriculum. Attention to detail, clear understanding of the IEP process, computer literacy, maturity, and commitment are desired teacher qualities. A current Missouri Special Education certificate is required.
