High School Math Teacher, Grades 9-12

St. Louis Public Schools - Virtual School is seeking a High School MO-Certified Teacher who is endorsed in Math. Our Teachers should therefore share the school's entrepreneurial spirit and passion to provide students with world class educational program that blends virtual with face-to-face instruction.

As part of their regular teaching responsibilities, Teachers are expected to fulfill duties in the following areas:

- Prepare to teach students virtually and face-to-face and deliver instruction using differentiated methods to meet the needs of all students
- Demonstrate knowledge of state standards
- Facilitate any state mandated or school-based assessments
- Communicate regularly with Learning Coaches, parents and students about student performance, progress and academic expectations in coursework
- Organize school outings and events for students and Learning Coaches
- Participate in regularly scheduled staff meetings and local and national professional development events (virtual and face-to-face)

Qualifications:
- Missouri-certified HQT High School Teacher who is endorsed in Math
- Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years of teaching experience
- Ability to support and guide adults, as well as students
- Strong communication, organization and time-management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook and the Internet
- Experience in a charter school or school of choice environment (virtual teaching preferred)
- Ability to learn new technology tools quickly (e.g., database and web-based tools)
