Job Description:
The Clinton Board of Education is seeking an experienced Superintendent to serve 1,800 students beginning July 1, 2010. We are located in the Truman Lakes area approximately 50 minutes southeast of the Kansas City area. The current superintendent is retiring after serving the district for six years. The district has received the "Distinction in Performance" designation for 2 consecutive years, and our staff is fully incorporating professional learning communities to continue this focus. Clinton is a progressive, rural school with a brand new high school and other fully renovated facilities located in a family friendly atmosphere and a supportive community surrounded by plentiful outdoor recreation opportunities.
