Job Description:
A full-time health occupations/medical careers/CNA teaching position is available at Platt High School for the 2009-2010 school year. This teaching assignment includes the training of students to obtain a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification.
A valid Connecticut teacher certification for School Nurse-Teacher (endorsement #072) and/or Health Occupations in Comprehensive High Schools (endorsement #103) is required. A valid certification as a Registered Nurse (RN) with the Connecticut Department of Health Services is also required. Previous health occupations/medical careers/CNA teaching experience at the high school level (Grades 9-12) is preferred.
