Job Description:
TITLE: Transportation Director
QUALIFICATION:
1. High School Diploma
2. Experience in an office environment (desirable but not required)
3. Experience with school transportation (required)
4. Possess appropriate transportation licensure as required by the Department of Motor Vehicles
5. Demonstrated proficiency with the use of computers and various software applications.
6. Familiarity with the Microsoft Office software suite of programs.
7. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
REPORTS TO: Superintendent of Schools
COMPENSATION: As negotiated with Superintendent of Schools
JOB GOAL: Under the supervision of the Superintendent of Schools, the Director of Transportation, the Transportation Dispatcher will complete the tasks associated with managing the Transportation system of the school district.
WORK YEAR: 12 month
