Superintendent of Schools
Vernon, Connecticut
The Board of Education is seeking outstanding candidates for Superintendent of the Vernon Public Schools.
The District Profile: The Vernon Public Schools have an enrollment of approximately 3500 students, with five elementary schools, a middle school and a high school. A nine member Board of Education governs the district. See district website for application process and requirements: www.vernonschools.com.
The Qualifications: Connecticut superintendent certificate; significant leadership experience; strong communication and interpersonal skills, experience in increasing student achievement, and creative problem solving.
The Contract and Compensation: A start date, and a regionally competitive salary plus a comprehensive benefits package will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
