Job Description:
The Meriden Public School District seeks applicants for a long-term substitute integrated language arts teaching assignment at the Grade 8 level. This assignment is available ASAP, and is anticipated to continue for several weeks.
A valid Connecticut teacher certification is required after 39 consecutive days in this assignment. The successful candidate must hold, or be immediately eligible for, a valid Connecticut certification with endorsement to teach integrated language arts at the Grade 8 level (#015, #215, #006, #004 or #001). Preference will be given to applicants with previous integrated language arts teaching experience at the Grade 8 level.
