This position is for the 2025-2026 school year. Salary is based on the adopted salary schedule for the 24-25 school year at this time (starting salary= $44,200). We accept all previous years in certificated teaching roles as steps on the salary schedule. The Fort Osage School District prioritizes a highly competitive salary schedule, with additional benefits including optional fully paid health insurance, career ladder stipends (up to $5,000), extra duty stipend opportunities and more. New teachers mentor program available for all first and second year teachers.
Must hold a valid Missouri English for Speakers of Other Languages Teaching Certificate
Experience working with ELL students is preferred, but not required.
eacher will have assigned caseload of students ranging in ages, but will likely service primarily elementary students.

Purpose Statement
The job of Teacher-ELL is done for the purpose/s of providing support to the instructional process by serving as a teacher with specific responsibility for developing English language users to effectively perform courses of study in the English language; supervising students within the classroom and other assigned areas; developing lesson plans and delivering group and individual student instruction within established curriculum guidelines;collaborating with other teachers, othe professional staff, and administrators in addressing instructional and/or classroom issues; and responding to a wide range of inquiries from students' parents or guardians regarding instructional program and student progress.
