Job Description:
The Northwest R-I School District seeks an enthusiastic and student- centered individual to fill this position for the 2026-27 school year. The successful candidate will be part of a high-energy and enthusiastic team of professionals, dedicated to meeting the academic, social and emotional needs of students.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as member of school Positive Support Team (PST).
- Serve as a member of school Section 504 Team.
- Implement guidance curriculum and career/education programs for students.
- Provide responsive services to students as necessary.
- Work with students and staff individually and in groups to address issues and barriers to success.
- Assist principal in coordinating state and district testing program for the school.
- Serve as a consultant/resource to staff and parents to help meet the needs of students.
- Assist students with development of long-range career/educational plans and class schedules.
- Communicate and coordinate with district services and outside agencies to provide services to students and their families.
- Assist students in transition from one educational grade or level to the next, including college/scholarship application process and employment process.
- Maintain records and documentation of services to students.
- Work with Juvenile Court, DSS, DMG, and other agencies to meet the comprehensive needs of students.
- Other duties as assigned by the Administration.
