Job Description:
The CREC Academy of Aerospace and Engineering 6-12 seeks a highly committed and dedicated Middle School English Teacher for the 2022-2023 school year.  Under the guidance of the school administration, the teacher will prepare and deliver English curriculum and instructional activities; will be responsible for differentiating instruction and data analysis of student achievement; will participate in all required meetings (department, team, data, etc.) and provide appropriate feedback to students and families.  

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• providing individual student and group instruction
• collaborating with classroom teachers as well as support staff
• monitoring student progress 
• administering federal assessments as necessary

The successful candidate must possess English 7-12 CT certification, knowledgeable in application of subject matter, excellent organizational skills, ability to keep concise records, outstanding personal/interpersonal communication skills and experience working with middle school students.
