Job Description:
The Master’s School seeks qualified, innovative, and energetic candidates looking to join a vibrant Lower School learning community. Successful candidates will demonstrate a commitment to their own learning as well as effective teaching practices for preschool aged children. In addition, candidates should have excellent communication and organizational skills, a deeply held passion for lifelong learning, and a belief that the process of learning is equally or more important that the product itself.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education with a concentration in related field
- Current teaching license and/or Association of Christian School International (ACSI) certification a plus
- Successful experience teaching and coordinating effective and guided learning for students in the preschool classroom
- Administrative and organizational experience
- Strong communication skills
- A commitment to The Master’s School mission
Instruction
- Effectively plan and facilitate comprehensive preschool learning
- Create and implement effective instructional methods according to individual student needs and developmental stages
- Maintain a clear scope and sequence
- Set appropriate and meaningful student learning goals
- Incorporate Biblical integration into the classroom curriculum
- Engage students in the learning process
- Utilize frequent assessments to guide learning and provide meaningful feedback
- Effectively integrate educational technology with relevant learning experiences
- Demonstrate clear knowledge of elementary school content as well as associated pedagogy
- Demonstrate knowledge of student development and associated applications
- Prepare appropriate instructional outcomes for individual learners
- Prepare and present effective, engaging, standards-based units and lessons
- Create an environment of respect and rapport
- Seek to cultivate a culture for learning
- Effectively manage appropriate classroom procedures and behaviors
