A Behavior Technician provides 1:1 behavioral intervention services to children with special needs.
Job Requirements
- Must have a four-year bachelor’s degree.
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis
- Implement individualized treatment plans under the supervision of BCBA
- Maintain respect and confidentiality for all clients
- Daily collection and graphing of all required data (DTT, Manding, Behaviors, TA's, etc.)
- Prepare program materials
- Review and implement consultation/supervision note recommendations
- Communicate appropriately and effectively with colleagues
- Assist staff in defining and measuring behavior; understanding principles of reinforcement; teaching new behavior; implementing strategies for weakening behavior; and identifying antecedents.
- Demonstrate ability to plan and evaluate strategies for improving behavior. Under the supervision of the Administration
