Responsible for planning, managing, monitoring, and supervising the provisioning, operation, and function of a small food service facility (cafeteria).
Duties and Responsibilities:- Plan, coordinate, assign, oversee and participate as required in the preparation, cooking, and serving of food; preparing and maintaining necessary records and files.
- Open kitchen, set up equipment, prepare cafeteria for serving.
- Maintain accurate food service records.
- Maintain a sanitary facility.
- Monitor the maintenance of all machinery and equipment.
- Receive, check, and sign for food delivered to the school.
- Perform related work as required.
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience in school food services or other food services
- ServSafe Food Manager certification required

Walking, moving, climbing, carrying, bending, kneeling, crawling, reaching, handling, pushing, and pulling. Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds, stand for long periods and withstand heat.
Salary/Hours:- $22.33 per hour April - June 2024
- Based on a 7-hour workday (approx 7 AM - 2 PM)
- Is part of the Salisbury Central School Employees Local 1303-270 Collective Bargaining Agreement.
