Job Description:
Lunch Aide needed for the 2024-2025 school year at Mathewson Elementary School.
Hours are approximately 10:45 - 1:15, Monday through Friday.
The hourly wage for these positions is $16.50 per hour. There are no benefits associated with these positions.

SUMMARY/GOAL OF POSITION:
Under general supervision, provides monitoring of children during lunch waves.
ESSENTIAL TASKS OF THE POSITION: (Illustrative, not inclusive)
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
High School graduation or other equivalent (i.e., GED, college, technical or trade school transcript, foreign equivalency, etc.).
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:
None.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous Lunch Aide or Cafeteria experience.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

- Provides assistance to students during lunch
- Cleans tables
- Makes lunch room ready for next lunch wave
- Ability to stand for at least one and one half an hour per day
- Ability to communicate with children
- Ability to withstand noise levels from moderate to loud
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
High School graduation or other equivalent (i.e., GED, college, technical or trade school transcript, foreign equivalency, etc.).
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:
None.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous Lunch Aide or Cafeteria experience.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Background check required
- Screening for Tuberculosis (TB) required.
