Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree and/or Masters in the content area
• Must possess or be eligible for the following CTSDE Certifications
  • (070) School Psychologist

Salary: Salary, work year and working conditions will be in accordance with the current contract between the Board of Education and the Suffield Educators Association.

Job Summary:             

• School Psychologist with experience in individualized evaluative processes including cognitive, adaptive, psychological, social and emotional behavioral assessments, report writing, developing IEP goals, counseling small group, individual and classroom instruction.
• Conduct FBAs and create and implement Behavior Intervention Plans
• Ability to positively engage teachers, students and families in the learning process.
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues to improve learning for all students.
• Participate as a member of Planning and Placement Team (PPT)  in developing of counseling related services goals and objectives
• Participate as a member of the 504 Multidisciplinary teams in developing 504 plans
• Assist with implementing prevention programs including the schools’ social/emotional learning programs
