North Canaan Elementary School seeks a motivated and energetic person to support our fall AHA and school-year program.
Working Conditions:
After school hours, 3:15 PM - 5:30 PM.
Six early dismissal days, 12:10 PM - 5:30 PM
Salary: Based on experience
Duties and Responsibilities:
Support the director in providing care to students who attend the AHA program.
Supervise students in community-centered or optimal learning environments.
Maintain confidentiality of all records, documents, and conversations.
Maintain a safe and caring environment.
Competencies and Qualifications
Sensitive to and aware of student needs
Courteous verbal communication
Team approach
Positive human relations and the ability to build rapport with children are essential.
Knowledgeable and understanding of child development
