Location: Administrative Offices (Central Office)
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 depending upon experience
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and Certified Public Accountant preferred. 5 plus years of responsible accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role and two years within a K-12 education, or governmental/non-profit organization, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Deep working knowledge of Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) principles, Fund Accounting. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel required. ERP systems common in public sector accounting preferred (e.g., PowerSchool/eFinance, MUNIS, specific state and federal grant systems, etc.).
Duties: Responsible for overseeing daily accounting functions of the school district, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in compliance with state/federal regulations and Board of Education policies and procedures.
