POSITION FUNCTION SUMMARY
A Student Success Advisor is an individual who provides guidance to students in meeting graduation requirements and preparing for post-secondary career and/or college opportunities. This individual will also be responsible for connecting students to resources that support their social and emotional growth in the school setting. The Student Success Advisor license alone does not allow the staff member to evaluate for or provide mental health services.  
  • Education and Experience
Required
  1. Must be at least 18 years of age.
  2. Hold either a Bachelor of Arts or science degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
  3. Must work toward and complete requirements for a school counselor license within five years. 
  4. Must be able to pass employment verification.
  5. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable.
