Job Description:
The Lutheran High School Association of St. Louis is seeking to hire a full-time or part-time Media Center Coordinator for its Lutheran High School North campus.  Benefits include: paid vacation and sick leave, retirement, and health insurance.  To apply: email resume and cover letter to:

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and assist students in Media Center
  • Share in regulation of Media Center after school
  • Maintain library media records (books, fines, inventory)
  • Keep Media Center in good order (books, magazines, newspapers, camera checkout)
  • Assist with present and implement technology integration projects
  • Establish and supervise student usage of a broad range of tools, resources, and information technologies throughout the school day
  • Collaborate with teachers to effectively incorporate technology within their specific curriculums
  • Assist IT director in identifying & resolving computer and network problems
  • Use technology to catalog, organize, document, compile and disburse books
  • Provide instructional support for teachers and student body when new technology is presented
  • Provide access to materials in all formats, including up-to-date, high-quality, varied literature to develop and strengthen the love of reading
  • Can work and relate effectively with high school students, faculty and staff
  • Knowledge of cataloging and working in a library setting
  • Can respond quickly to the technology needs of students and teachers
  • Can effectively and consistently serve others
  • Can work effectively with a team
  • Strong work ethic, supported by commitment and follow through
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Ability to think analytically and to develop new or revised systems, procedures and workflow
  • Ability to exercise initiative and independent judgement
  • Must espouse and minister in accordance with the school’s philosophy of Christian education
Minimum Education, Skills and Abilities:
  • 2 – 5 years of experience troubleshooting Apple, PC Computer, iPad issues
  • Experience using apps and troubleshooting printer issues
  • Experience working with and maintaining networks
  • Experience with Google apps
  • Experience with installing software and operating systems on computers
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred 
  • IT Technical Certificate preferred
