Job Description:
Christian Brothers College High School, a private Lasallian Catholic High School for young men in grades 9 - 12, is accepting applications for a full-time School Counselor. As a Lasallian school, CBC's faculty and staff are dedicated to helping every student realize the maximum potential of his God-given talents and abilities.

Position:  Full-time High School Counselor

Start Date: The job will officially start on August 1st, however there will be some training over the summer on mutually agreeable dates.  Please note that in addition to normal daytime school hours, there are also occasional evening and weekend responsibilities.

Qualifications: Master’s degree in Counseling and Professional School Counselor certification.
Three or more years of college counseling experience in a high school setting is preferred.

Job Description: CBC utilizes a comprehensive counseling model supporting students in the areas of academic achievement, career, and social/emotional development. In addition, each Counselor has an emphasis in either Wellness Counseling or College Counseling. We are seeking a School Counselor with an emphasis in College Counseling. The ideal candidate will have experience in innovative approaches and strategies to best prepare our students for the college admissions process. Knowledge of college and career opportunities, standardized testing, Naviance software, and the college admission process is preferred. Wellness and College Counselors work closely with administrators, faculty & staff, and community entities in order to support students and their families in all areas of their high school experience.
