The main of objective of the Assistant Business Manager is to provide financial support to the Business Office and School District. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, preparing financial reports, accounting and budgetary applications, cash flow projections, assist with monthly and year-end closing, journal entries, general ledger and trial balance, monthly bank account reconciliations, preparations of bids and bids specifications, maintaining all cash investment accounts, etc.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting of Business Administration
  • Letter of eligibility certified public account preferred (not required)
  • Experience in accounting or related field
  • Ability to effectively manage time, set priorities, goal setting and best practices
  • Excellent technology skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; establish and maintain effective working relationships, provide leadership and guidance to business staff
Reports to: Business Manager
Location: Business Office at Early Learning Center (Landenberg, PA)
Classification: Exempt, 12 month employee
Schedule: 8:00am - 4:00pm, Monday-Friday
