Reports To:Director of Information Technology 

Duties & Responsibilities
IT Infrastructure Maintenance
1. Manage the functionality of physical and virtual servers; install and maintain network hardware and software.
2. Maintain network facilities in individual machines, such as drivers and settings of personal computers as well as printers.
3. Installs, configures, and maintains network cabling and other networking equipment such as switches, access points, and UPS.
4. Install and support LANs/WANs, network segments, internet and intranet systems; ensures network connectivity throughout LAN/WAN infrastructure is on par with technical considerations.
5. Assist with moves, adds, and changes to the telephony and voicemail systems.
Network Security Monitoring
6. Maintain network servers such as file servers, VPN gateways, intrusion detection systems.
7. Maintain access to and security of system information; functions as the administrator for all backup and replication services.
8. Manage security solutions including firewall, anti-virus, and intrusion detection systems.
9. Perform network address assignment as well as assignment of routing protocols and routing table configuration.
10. Assign configuration of authentication and authorization of directory services.
11. Evaluate and improve network performance for computer systems and networks.
Education Bachelor’s Level Degree (degree must emphasize computer science, information technology/ network administration, or related field)
Certification Any one of the following industry certifications:
(1) CompTIA Server+/ Security+,
(2) Cisco Certified Network Associate,
(3) MS Certified Azure Administrator, or
(4) Google Certified IT Support
Experience Minimum of four (4) years in network and computer administration with a focus on supporting server based IT systems (e.g., VMWare, Windows Server, Microsoft Exchange/ Active Directory)
...IT Infrastructure & Maintenance Experience with installing, repairing, and initial setup of hardware technologies including, but not limited to, Windows based PCs/ notebook computers, Chromebooks, iPads/ iPhones, servers; has a deep understanding of system architecture structure and function.
...Network Security MonitoringExperience with designing, implementing, and monitoring digital security systems including, but not limited to, viruses, malware, email SPAM/ scams, ransomware; has a deep understanding of internet/ intranet architecture structure and function.
…Troubleshooting & Technical Support Successful (positive) record of providing technical support to users with varied knowledge/ facility of IT hardware and software as well as users of varied age groups.
…Strategic Planning & Supervision History of evaluating/ coaching direct reports as well as supervising third-party personnel (contractors/ contracting agencies).
