Job Description:
Position Title: Dean of Students
Location: High School
The Eastern Lebanon County School District is now accepting applications for the position of Dean of
Students at ELCO High School. The Dean of Students position is a 10-month position with an additional ten days added throughout the summer. This position will be a part of the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). The successful candidate will have experience in meeting the academic and social-emotional needs of students and innovating to foster skills for student engagement. Strong communication skills (verbal and written), excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to collaborate with classroom teachers and paraprofessional staff members are a must. The Dean of Students must be an enthusiastic instructional leader with a comprehensive knowledge of best practices in curriculum, instruction, student discipline, and attendance. In addition, the ability to develop positive rapport with students through a proactive behavior management approach to implement positive behavior, academic, and attendance plans will be a position expectation.

- Pennsylvania Certification – secondary education.
- A graduate degree in curriculum and instruction or education administration, preferred.
- Current Act 34, 151 and 114.
