Summary:
Plans, administers, and directs athletic activities by performing the following duties personally for all EEACS functions only.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manages difficult or emotional coaching, student, and parent situations judiciously; Responds to coaching, student, and parent requests for service and assistance; Maintains confidentiality; demonstrates objective approaches to communicating with staff and constituents; Exhibits objectivity and openness to the views of others; Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; Listens and solicits clarification; Responds appropriately to questions; Writes clearly and effectively. Works well with others.
Leadership Skills:
Develops workable implementation plans; Makes self-accessible to COO and staff; Looks for ways to improve and promote quality; Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; Adheres to safety and security procedures; Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.
Organizational Skills:
Works with accuracy when monitoring all cost-related tasks; Shows respect and sensitivity for cultural differences; Follows policies and procedures; Reports information correctly and on time; Supports district's goals and values.
Personal Competencies:
Exhibits sound and accurate judgment; Treats people with respect; Works ethically and with integrity; Respects confidentiality; Prioritizes and plans work activities; Uses time efficiently; Approaches others in a tactful manner; Reacts well under pressure; Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; Follows instructions, responds to supervisory direction; Takes responsibility for own actions.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree; major in education, physical education, or similar field. ?
- Minimum five years’ experience as Athletic Director or Assistant Athletic Director role. ?
- Excellent communication and organizational skills. ?
- Demonstrated skills in applying computer technology efficiently and effectively. ?
- Satisfactory work record & criminal / child abuse clearances ?
Summary:
Plans, administers, and directs athletic activities by performing the following duties personally for all EEACS functions only.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Interprets and participates in formulating athletic policies and procedures. ?
- Discharges coaching staff and other department employees on own initiative or at direction of the COO or CEO. ?
- Schedules transportation, games, and game officials. ?
- Coordinates facilities preparation. ?
- Prepares and disseminates publicity to promote athletic events. ?
- Arranges for the acquisition and distribution of athletic awards (letters, patches, stars, certificates, picture plaques, jackets, banners, and hall of fame plaques). ?
- Plans and coordinates activities of coaching staff. ??
- Reschedules postponements and events. ?
- Schedules overnight reservations for coaches and participants for conferences, district and state events. ?
- Manage and distribute any PDE/PIAA required forms. ?
- Maintains eligibility lists and submits proper participation forms to the PIAA
- Attends league, district, and state meetings. ?
- Supervises all athletic contests, gate and ticket personnel, and maintains records and contest scores for all events. ?
- Evaluates athletic programs. ?
- Schedules cleaning and reconditioning of athletic equipment and inventories equipment. ?
- Prepares all requisitions for ordering materials, supplies, medical supplies, and medical personnel for events. ?
- Completes financial forms and pays invoices for athletic events. ?
- Evaluates performance of coaches under the direction of the COO. ?
- Ensure staff / security / police support all home athletic events. ?
- Prepares and monitors budget and authorizes department expenditures. ?
- Plans and schedules sports events, and supervises ticket sales and related activities. Certifies reports of income produced from ticket sales. ?
- Facilitates programs for students in physical education. ?
- Performs such other tasks and assumes such other responsibilities as may be assigned or delegated by the COO or CEO. ? ?
