The East Penn School District is seeking outstanding applicants for a school psychologist position that will support elementary students at Alburtis Elementary School and students at Emmaus High School. This is a full-time, 10- month position.
Job Description:
This vacancy exists for a school psychologist to work within the Emmaus High School Counseling Office which will primarily support students in grades 9-12. This position also supports students in grades K-5 at Alburtis Elementary School.

The Emmaus High School is located at 500 Macungie Avenue Emmaus PA.
Alburtis Elementary School is located 222 3rd Street Alburtis PA.
Work Schedule:
7 hours & 20 minutes/day, 10 months (190 days/school year)
Additional summer work, totaling up to 20 days can be scheduled and paid at the current per diem rate.
Salary:
2024-2025 Salary:
Master’s, Step 1: $67,000/year
Master’s +12, Step 1: $69,500/year
Master’s +24, Step 1: $71,500/year
Master's+36, Step 1: $73,500/year
*Salary and benefits in accordance with terms of the East Penn Education Association collective bargaining agreement.

Qualifications:
- Valid PA certification in School Psychology required.
- Master's degree required.
- Current police, child abuse and FBI Fingerprint clearances required.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conducting psycho-educational evaluations under IDEA
- Conducting evaluations for 504 Plans
- Responding to crisis situations
- Behavior de–escalation
- Non-emergency consultation with school counselors
- Team member of SAP, MTSS, and Child Study teams
