SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST
MIDDLE SMITHFIELD ELEMENTARY
 (Regular Appointment)

This school psychologist position will be available immediately.  Years of service and experience in a public school setting may be considered.  The salary and benefits are in accordance with the current Professional Association Collective Bargaining Unit Agreement.

Candidates must possess a valid Pennsylvania School Psychologist Certificate which qualifies them to serve in grades Pre-Kindergarten through 12.

We are seeking a candidate with a strong commitment to providing essential psychological services to our exceptional students within the district.

Other qualifications include the following:

1.      Ability to evaluate, counsel, and work with students, parents, and staff,
2.      Empathy for the perspectives of students, staff, and families,
3.      Outstanding communication and organizational skills,
4.      Ability to adhere to mandated timelines in providing services to students and families,
5.      Interpret the results of psychoeducational evaluations to teachers, administrators, and parents,
6.      Support diverse learners by assessing diverse learning needs and implementing appropriate supports.
