Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement counseling program for high school students
- Monitor assigned student achievement and communicate between parents, students, teachers, and school staff
- Help students experiencing social, emotional, and/or behavioral problems through counseling
- Facilitate external supports for students and families in need of additional supports
- Assist with academic scheduling and support administration with accompanying responsibilities related to scheduling
- Maintain records and perform other counseling department related duties as needed
- Ability to relate and communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
- Valid Pennsylvania Instructional I or II School Counselor
- Prior experience preferred
- State Police Background Check, FBI Background Check, and Child Abuse History Clearance will be required when responding to this posting
