POSITION TITLE: High School Guidance Counselor- Upper Perkiomen High School
REPORTS TO: High School Principal
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Full time contract-available immediately.
QUALIFICATIONS:
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
PRE-EMPLOYMENT PAPERWORK REQUIREMENTS:

QUALIFICATIONS:
- PDE School Counselor Certification
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Provides counseling sessions for students
- LEA designee to participate in IEP conferences for special education students
- Member of instructional support team
- Serves as the 504 coordinator
- Screens children for gifted program and communicates results to teachers
- Counsels, supervises and trains in peer relations
- With building principal, oversee and organize building’s standardized testing program and materials; interprets results to parents and students
- Presents programs to faculty, students and parents; arranges workshops with outside agencies
PRE-EMPLOYMENT PAPERWORK REQUIREMENTS:
- PA State Police Clearance (Act 34)
- Child Abuse Clearance (Act 151)
- FBI Fingerprint Clearance (Act 114)
- School Personnel Health Form (Physical and TB test)
- PDE 6004 Form (Act 24)
- Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release Form(s)
