School Psychologist

The East Penn School District is seeking outstanding applicants for a school psychologist position at Macungie Elementary School.  This is a full-time, 10- month position.
Qualifications:

• Valid PA certification in School Psychology required.
• Master's degree required.
• Current police, child abuse and FBI Fingerprint clearances required.

 
Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conducting psycho-educational evaluations under IDEA
• Conducting evaluations for 504 Plans
• Responding to crisis situations
• Behavior de–escalation
• Non-emergency consultation with school counselors
• Team member of SAP, MTSS, and Child Study teams

Work Schedule:
7 hours & 30 minutes/day, 10 months (190 days/school year)
Additional summer work, totaling up to 20 days can be scheduled and paid at the current per diem rate.
 
Salary:
2025-2026 Salary:
Master’s, Step 1: $69,750/year
Master’s +12, Step 1: $71,750/year
Master’s +24, Step 1: $73,750/year
Master's+36, Step 1: $75,750/year
 
*Salary and benefits in accordance with terms of the East Penn Education Association collective bargaining agreement.
 
* Please note that the East Penn School District considers years of service when determining the starting salary.
