Job Description:
Job Brief: Westport Day School is looking to add a skillful and enthusiastic licensed clinician to their social work team to help provide top-quality and comprehensive therapeutic services to support and enhance the social, emotional, and academic functioning of students enrolled in the program.

Responsibilities and Duties:
· Provide long-term clinical services for a caseload of 10(+) students enrolled at Westport Day School
· Create and monitor social/emotional goals and objectives for students enrolled with Individualized Education Plans
· Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical records for students
· Support teachers with incorporating therapeutic models into the delivery of class content and academic curriculum
· Participate in daily clinical rounds meetings and weekly professional development seminars within the school setting
· Collaborate with students’ community-based providers to establish appropriate and comprehensive treatment plans
· Provide therapeutic services to parents and families through school-based support groups and regular family meetings
· Facilitate and oversee social clubs and extracurricular activities within the school setting
· Run Friday professional development meetings and daily wrap up with teachers

Qualifications and Skills:
· MSW degree from an accredited social work program
· LMSW (required), or LCSW issued by the CT Department of Public Health
· Holds Connecticut School Social Worker Certification (071)
· 1-3 years experiences working in related fields and capacities
· Working knowledge of evidence-based psychotherapeutic practices and theories (CBT, DBT, mindfulness, psychodynamic approaches, relational models, etc.)
· Leadership skills, and ability to take command of a staff of teachers
· Strong organization, time-management, interpersonal, and professional writing skills
· Flexibility in the workplace, and able to work well under pressure
· Willing to submit to background checks and professional/licensing verification
