Job Description:
Regional School District 8 is accepting applications for a 1.0 Building Substitute. Primary responsibilities
include, but are not limited to, the following:
 Effectively manage and supervise students in the classroom setting
 Ensure safety and work completion
 Follow lesson plans left by teachers
 Maintain accountability of students
 Accurately record and report attendance
 Monitor students in non-classroom settings
Regional School District 8 (RHAM) is a high-performing, regionalized secondary school district serving
approximately 1,200 students in grades seven through twelve residing in the towns of Hebron, Andover, and
Marlborough. The district consists of one middle school and one high school located on a shared campus in
Hebron, CT. The district offers rich academic experiences for students through a robust program of studies, as
well as a variety of sports, extracurricular activities, and clubs to provide students with a well-rounded education.
