Substitute Teaching Position

Southeast Delco School District is seeking qualified personnel to instruct and supervise students as a substitute within the classroom and other assigned areas. The substitute teacher must deliver instruction for the absent teacher in assigned course(s). 

Ideal Candidates for the Teacher position will have:

• PA teaching certification required (or be eligible to acquire Emergency Certification).
• Experience teaching successfully in an urban setting preferred.
• Proven effectiveness in leading a group of students with a variety of abilities to each make significant academic gains.
• Proficient classroom management skills.

 Qualifications:

• PA teaching certification required or eligible for emergency certification 
• Act 34, Act 151, Act 168 and FBI clearances
• Experience teaching elementary/middle/high school in an urban setting
