Job Description:
**SIGN ON BONUS**
$1000 for all fulltime positions with 1235+ annual hours
$500 for all part-time positions
Easterseals of Southeastern Pennsylvania's Bucks County Division is looking for a part-time energetic Bus Attendant in Levittown PA to assist preschool-ages children with disabilities on the school bus 20 hours per week.
Responsibilities include assisting pre-school aged students with disabilities entering and exiting the school bus, ensuring their safety before and during transportation, and adhering to all required guidelines. The ability to build rapport and trust with the students is very important.
Hours include the morning and afternoon bus routes Monday through Friday for scheduled days of programs during the school year plus a 6 week summer program. We strive to hire those who are passionate about the pediatric special needs population, have good communications skills, enjoy a team environment and want to make a difference in the lives of those they assist.
Qualifications:
High School diploma/GED required.
Prior School Bus Attendant or Childcare Aide experience required; experience with the special needs population a plus.
CPR and First Aid Certification required.
Ability to work 7:00AM-9:00AM and 1:50PM-3:30PM required.
Applicants are required to pass Easterseals and Philadelphia School District required clearances, pre-employment drug testing and alcohol screening.
Must be able to travel by car to Levittown as public transportation near the school is not available.
