EdAdvance is one of Connecticut's six Regional Educational Service Centers (RESCs). Our mission as the RESC in western Connecticut to is to promote the success of school districts and their communities. Collaboratively with them, we provide educational and related services.
  1. Ability to support the academic, functional and behavioral needs of students and adults.
  2. Maintain appropriate and timely written documentation.
  3. Maintain confidentiality of individuals.
  4. Adhere to all agency policies.
  5. Enforce all behavior support plans.
  6. May need to transport individuals to appointments in own vehicle.
  7. Ensure the health and safety of all individual including assistance with individuals’ hygiene and personal care.
  8. Some lifting may be required.
  9. These statements describe the essential responsibilities of the job; other duties not described here may be assigned as needed.
Knowledge and Skills Required
  1. High School Diploma or GED required.
  2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  3. Valid CT driver’s license and insurance.
  4. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  5. Regular and consistent attendance is an essential function of this job.
The Community Coach works under the supervision of the Coordinator of Transition Services.

Salary Range

Competitive hourly rate (based on experience) and excellent benefits package.
